COVINA MASONIC  HOME  IN TRANSITION

As announced in a recent letter from the Grand Master and the Masonic Homes Board of Trustees President, our Covina Masonic Home is now in the process of phasing out its residential program for children.

This will end 110 years of sheltering children at that location.  The program is no longer a major need of our fraternal family, and more pressing assistance has been found to be needed in recent years for Masonic families in distress.

Under its Family Resource Center, expanded services and programs are now being developed by the Homes to aid brethren and families now struggling with life challenges, particularly involving the recent economic impact.

The Covina campus facilities are being evaluated for potentially aiding in providing some of the needed relief.

GRAND LODGE is just around the corner.  Be prepared to discuss the 2009 Resolutions and other legislation at our September Stated Meeting, before your Officers vote in San Francisco.

      Fraternally,
